Thirsty for some bloodshed? Well Combat Arms is the game for you. Combat Arms is a FPS (first person shooting) game that you can play with over 3 million other online players.

There are about 30 maps to choose from ranging from junk yards to hidden bases to snow valleys to bridges. Combat Arms has it all, so if you get bored of one map, there are 29 more to choose from.  Also, there are many different weapon options such as Sniper Rifles, Assault rifles, Sub-machine gun, Machine gun, or shotguns.

Not only are there a lot of maps and weapons, there are loads of modes to choose from. A mode is what your mission is for a given game. One mode is Quarantine Regen (Regeneration). Quarantine Regen is when a player is infected by Nemexis, a virus created by accident that turns the player into a zombie. The zombie’s job is to infect the other remaining players until everyone is infected. However, there is a time limit. When the time limit is up, if there are still humans left, the infected team loses and vice versa.

This is an example of Quarantine Regen: Quarantine Regen

There is a mode that is often played, elimination. It is a mode where one team has to get a                      certain amount of kills wins. It’s very straight forward. Also, the host player gets to choose the                    settings – if it’s the amount of kills a team needs to get to win or what guns are not allowed.

Capture the flag, is my favorite mode. The goal is to steal the other team’s flag and bring it back to your flag spawn. You have to get back without getting killed. Most of the time, the opposing teams put mines on the flag spot, making it harder for the other team to steal the flag.

A mode that is recommended for beginners would be Quarantine Regen. This mode tests your survival skills, your camping skills (this skill is where you stay hidden and attack when necessary), and your ability to shoot. Also, this game does not affect your record so your KDR (kill/death ratio) is safe.
